Abstract: The work is devoted to the study of influence of separate clay minerals on collector properties and the definition of their content using gamma-spectrometry log in the complex of well-logging. On the basis of the revealed petrophysical regularities and adaptive techniques of well-logging data interpretation (D.A. Kozhevnikov, 2004) the algorithm of estimating kaolinite and illite content in the structure of clay cement was developed. The results of interpretation of Jurassic deposits of the Tevlinsko- Russkinskoe field are presented.
