Abstract: Fundamental 14-constant equations of state of universal form, describing accurately all the thermodynamic properties of n-dodecane and n-tridecane in the temperature range from triple point up to ~700 K at pressures up to 100 Mpa are developed. The average error in the description of the density of the liquid phase on the saturation line is 0,1-0,3 % of the gas phase on the saturation line — 0,3-1,5 %, the saturated vapor pressure — 0,2-1,0 %, the density of the liquid phase at elevated pressures of 0,1-0,4 %, isobaric heat capacity of the liquid phase — 0,4-0,8 %, the speed of sound 0,5-1,0 %. For n-tridecane a fundamental equation is obtained for the first time.

Abstract: The article is devoted to the separation of stable "water in oil" emulsions in the coalescing filter with cellulose packing. The effectiveness of the separation process of the emulsion separation in the reactor with cotton packing was studied. Based on these experimental results and literature data the separation mechanism is discussed, as well as its relationship with the structure of the cellulose molecules.

Abstract: The relationship between the parameters of the process of hydrotreating and hydrogenation degree of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons is established. It is shown that an increase in temperature reduces significantly the degree of hydrogenation of polycyclic aromatic hydro-carbons. Production of low sulfur fuel from a mixture of straight-run diesel and light gas of oil catalytic cracking requires the introduction of the stage of the hydrogenation of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons.

Abstract: The results of the synthesis of higher nitro-based α-olefins in solvents, as well as amides and amino esters from petroleum acids extracted from different fractions of the Baku oil with di, and tri-ethanol-amines are considered. The compounds were tested as anti-corrosion additives to mineral oil I-40 to increase its protective properties against corrosion in various aggres-sive environments.

Abstract: The article describes the development of composite reagents providing dewatering of sludge emulsions of OAO «Samarneftegaz». The study of surface-active properties of the developed composite modifying additive on the basis of the surfactant Neftemol VVD-M and Nezhegol showed that a sharp decrease in interfacial tension occurs at the ratio of neftenol VVD - M to Nezhegol as 1:1. Based on certain Neftemol compositions an effective composit reagent was developed that provides dehydrating of sludge emulsion and its destruction by 96%. The technology of dewatering of sludge emulsion by phase inversion method using the Neftemol MD composition is presented.

Abstract: The process of wear of the sealing units of plunger oilfield pumps is considered as a continuous Markov process with monotonic implementations, which corresponds to the diffusion monotonic (DM) distribution. To estimate the parameters of this distribution an iterative procedure that converges quickly to the exact values of the parameters is suggested.
