Evaluation of synergistic effects of investment projects in oil and gas company

Abstract: The paper proposes an approach to describing and assessing the value of synergy effects of investment projects within the same oil and gas company. The approach is based on the idea of the investment project as the core of the production and supply-and-marketing shell, with functions of individual projects incorporates within it. The main types of interaction occurring between investment projects when projects shells fuse are classified. The presented example shows that the application of the proposed approach increases the efficiency of the portfolio of investment projects.

Abstract: The article discusses the existing legal regime of subsoil use within protected areas, domestic and international experience in the development of mineral resources in the national parks, nature reserves, world heritage sites. Conclusions about the possible ways of improving the legal regime of subsoil use in such areas are made. The precedents of the field development in the Russian Federation within the limits of protected areas are considered. The conclusion about the possibility of improving the legal regime of subsurface management in protected natural areas in consistence with the regime realized in the international law enforcement is made.

Abstract: According to the results of repeated studies by neutron methods the seal effect of the clay cap overlying the deposits developed in the depletion mode under reduced reservoir pressure was identified. A mathematical model of water filtration and clay sealing that calculates the change in pore pressure in the cap and reduction of clay porosity was developed. The amount of water forced out of the clay cap into the formation for a single production well operating under a long-time drawdown is evaluated.

Abstract: The work considers reagent encapsulation as one of the most promising technologies of sludge, drill cuttings and other waste disposal. The recommendations of foreign and Russian researchers to implement this method of waste processing are presented. The results of experimental work on the selection of recipes of neutralizing reagent encapsulation method are presented: the existing recommendations were tested; an additional agent – the fly ash of thermal power plants  was used in the treatment. The recommendations for the disposal of various wastes are formulated more implicitly.

Abstract: The main types of hydrogen sulfide scavengers available on the Russian market are considered. The study of the efficiency of nine hydrogen sulfide scavengers with different chemical composition is carried out. The residual hydrogen sulfide content after treatment with straight scavengers of fuel oil, visbreaking gas oil, and their mixtures in different ratios was estimated. The high efficiency of triazine scavengers is shown. The negative impact of some scavengers on the figure of water soluble acids and alkali is observed. The influence of the triazine scavengers as surface-active substances on the stability of the various components of fuel oil is studied. The triazines  based scavenger is recommended for commercial use being safer and more efficient in its composition.

Abstract: The article deals with the separation of stable «water in oil» emulsions in a coalescing filter packed with cellulose. The efficiency of the process of separation of the emulsion in the reactor packed with cotton is studied. Based on the experimental results and the literature data the mechanism of separation, as well as its relation to the structure of cellulose molecules are discussed.

Abstract: The possibility to effectively remove the blowing agents from alkanolamine absorption solution by extracting them with poliphenyl ether (PPE). The used extractant is regenerated by mixing it with methyl ethyl ketone (MEK) and the precipitated substances soluble in PPE, but not soluble in the mixture of PPE and the IEC are mechanically removed, with subsequent distillation of IEC from the clarified solution and return of the recovered PPE to the extraction stage. The necessity of including into the scheme of extraction the stages of PPE water wash from alkanolamine solution and subsequent drying of the extractant is substantiated.
