Abstract: The article reviews the achievements of Russian Gubkin State University of Oil & Gas scho- lars in the field measuring multi-phase flows in well production. The basics of the patented spectrometric method of measuring phase flow in a compound multiphase flow are described. Data-measuring systems, based on the spectrometric method, for well operating mode control are considered. Perspectives for improvement and management of field development using the system are shown.

Abstract: Processes of gel formation in acid sols of silica, obtained by solubilisation of silica-alumina, colloid silica and liquid glass in hydrochloric acid are investigated. The equations for dependence of gel formation time on acid and substrate concentration, temperature and mineralization of solutions are obtained. It is shown, that limit stage of gel formation process in acid silica sols is the reaction of silica acid protonation

Abstract: Three typical cases when gas inside pore space forms bubbles are considered: gas microbubbles occluded in continuous saturating liquid; microbubbles adsorbed on pore surface; marobubbles occupying one or several pores. Theoretical analysis of the effect of these gas states on the characteristics of Frenkel-Biot P-waves is carried out. Analytical expressions for phase velocities of Frenkel-Biot P-waves are derived for low-and high-frequency ranges. It is shown that attenuation coefficient of 1st wave (i.e. P-wave which is determined mainly by compressibility of saturating liquid and material of porous matrix) essentially depends on gas state inside the pore space. Since the presence of gas microbubbles occluded in continuous saturating liquid is important for some practical applications (for example, some techniques to enhance oil recovery), the attenuation coefficient of 1st wave can be used as a diagnostic parameter.

Abstract: Analytical solution of the generalized problem of the temperature distribution of the fluid produced from a well is presented. The obtained equation is based on the equations of the 1st principle of thermodynamics and heat transfer under variable temperature with respect for the heat sources and sinks. The proposed equation of heat distribution allows to determine the temperature of produced fluid along the well depth for different methods of production.1 Illustr., bibliography - 11 units.

Abstract: Applying D065 plasticizer and a stabilized colloid agent can help improve the casing and workover quality. The cause of low quality of casing of the upper well segment at a number of gas fields in the Far North is supposed to be the high water/cement ration used lightweight cement slurries.
