Abstract: Oil-based cementing slurries are most efficient to fight water production in producing wells. These are subdivided into water free oil-based cementing slurries and emulsion oil-based cementing slurries. High selective and insulating properties of the former are confirmed by the results of remedial cementing in Orenburg and Tumen regions

Abstract: The model of strengthening a thin-wall elastic single piece homogeneous plate with an infinite stringer, made of two semi-infinite pieces and placed on the line of joint of the homogeneous parts of the plate, is studied.
