Abstract: A new method of updating zones of oil and gas generation is presented. The case of the Lena-Tunguska petroleum province is chosen to illustrate the importance of taking into account the influence of magmatic processes for predicting oil and gas potential. Both the positive and negative influence of the Siberian superplume magmatism on the formation and evolution of petroleum systems is shown
