He is Doctor of Technical Sciences, Full Professor, Head of the Analytical Center of the Scientific and Technical Forecasting in Oil and Gas Industry of OGRI RAS. Olga N. SARDANASHVILY graduated from Gubkin Moscow Institute of Petrochemical and Gas Industry in 1976. She is Candidate of Technical Sciences, Senior Research Fellow of the Analytical Center of the Scientific and Technical Forecasting in Oil and Gas Industry of OGRI RAS. Julia G. BOGATKINA graduated from Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas in 1990. She is Candidate of Technical Sciences, Leading Research Fellow of the Analytical Center of the Scientific and Technical Forecasting in Oil and Gas Industry of OGRI RAS. Paul G. TERESHCHENKO graduated from Ukrainian Correspondence Polytechnic Institute in 1967. He is Candidate of Technical Sciences, Senior Research Fellow of the Analytical Center of the Scientific and Technical Forecasting in Oil and Gas Industry of OGRI RAS. He is specialist in the field of optimal design of external networks of gas and oil fields in the major producing regions of Russia. He is author of over 50 scientific publications. Abstract: Scientific basis for geological study and accelerated industrial development of transit zones of the internal seas of Russia are developed. These were tested in the study of the north-eastern part of the Azov Sea. A series of calculations to define the dynamics of hydrocarbons production for the short-term outlook were carried out. The preliminary estimate of the development opportunities and resources of 2 fields and 33 perspective structures of the coastal part of the Sea of Azov allowed to prove the possibility of commissioning a tuple of fields taking into account the dynamics of oil, gas and condensate production. On the basis of the research results the principal provisions of the concept of the development and commissioning of fields of hydrocarbons of the northeast part of the Sea of Azov were formulated
