Abstract: The article provides an overview of existing methods of wells selection for stimulation with bottom-hole treatment technologies or formation hydraulic fracturing. Their shortcomings are presented. The principles of the new rapid methods of wells selection for stimulation are presented. The method is based on the use of the graphic correlation of the fluid rate current values and the fluid potential values of the current reservoir wells. The indicator for the fluid potential of the well is a product of the penetrated layer thickness, its average permeability and the difference between the reservoir and the bottomhole pressure, divided by the viscosity of the produced fluid. Wells with points at the graphic correlation located below the interpolating point line of direct dependence on the fluid flow rate of the fluid potential index are recognized as problem wells.
