Marina N. KRAVCHENKO was born in 1959, graduate from Lomonosov Moscow State University. She is Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, published over 40 works on mechanics of multiphase flows. She is scientific editor of 4 monographs on petroleum engineering.

Abstract: Hydro-fracturing is now one of the most efficient methods of well simulation. It consists in pumping of the working fluid of hydro-fracturing into the reservoir under sufficiently high pressure to create an artificial fracture in the rock.
