Calculation algorithms for simulation of unsteady flows in gas pipeline

Authors: Ruslan V. POPOV was born in 1990. He graduated from Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas in 2013 as Master of Engineering and Technology. He is graduate student of the Department of Applied Mathematics and Computer Modeling of Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas. Abstract: The methods of simulating unsteady flow of gas in pipelines based on the method of finite differences is discussed. It is shown that the use of linearized differential circuits may lead to accumulation of linearization error. A method to reduce the influence of the linearization error, as well as a generic algorithm of simulating unsteady non-isothermal gas flow in the pipeline are proposed
