Abstract: Analysis of sedimentary environments and definition of prospective objects are presented. The main tool is the sequent stratigraphy method, which allowed to define tracts of sedimentation. Stratigraphic and lithological description of research region rocks is given as well as a brief description of neighbouring oil and gas fields.

Abstract: The results of the interpretation of the geological structure of the Upper Paleozoic sediments of Pogadaevo-Ostafevsky deflection from the position of sequence-stratigraphy are presented. Numerical assessment of the resources in traps at different stratigraphic levels of the subsalt rocks complex is carried out.
