Cyclic recurrence and development of reservoir rocks in lower devonian sediments of Khoreyverska Varandej-Adzviny petroleum regions

Abstract: The Lower Devonian sediments in Khoreyversk and Varandej-Adzvin petroleum regions are compared. The summary of previous research and analysis of information obtained during drilling in recent years allowed to identify cyclites in well logs. The logs are grouped into three main types, depending on the number of identified cyclites. The types of reservoir rocks and their distribution in the logs are determined. The forecast of reservoir rocks distribution in the Lower Devonian sediments of these areas is given
