She is Doctor of Economic Sciences, professor, full member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences. She is Head of the Department of Labor and Personnel Management at Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas. She has published over 280 scientific papers in economics and management. Anna V. KOMAROVA graduated from the Moscow Technological Institute of Food Industry in 1992. She is Candidate of Economic Sciences, associate professor of the Department of Labor and Personnel Management at Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas. Abstract: The article presents the methodological aspects that reflect the essence of the new approach in the management of knowledge, based on the use of project management. Today the scientific community considers project management to be a new kind of management best adapted to the modern social and economic conditions. The authors describe the mechanisms of implementation and characteristic features of the knowledge project management.
