Authors: Elena A. MAZLOVA graduated from Gubkin Moscow Institute of Petrochemical and Gas Industry specializing in “Basic organic and petrochemical synthesis”. She is Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Industrial Ecology at Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas, author of 90 scientific papers, 3 books and 5 tutorials. Abstract: The problem of pollution of natural ecosystems by oil and oil products is considered. The object of investigation was the territory of the sanitary protection zone of Moscow oil refinery adjacent to the Moscow River. The results of laboratory tests of samples of soil and river water are presented. A comparative analysis of the hydrocarbon group composition of the samples of soil and coastal refinery sludges was carried out.
