Abstract: Gravitational influence caused by density changes in water saturated mud shales and formation water in the abnormal pressure zones is considered. The total influence of the two considered factors induces a weak negative field. The field parameters can be measured and taken into account under high-precision gravity measurements.

Abstract: The problem of determining the position of gas-water-oil contact using the gravity field spectrum for formation and bottom water kinetics in the process of field development is tackled. A 2D solution is offered for formation water case and a 3D variant is offered for bottom water case.

Abstract: Equations of relationship between gravity field and well production rate for oil fields under water drive production are considered. Analytical expressions determining capacities of pay zones using gravities have been identified. Applications of these to monitor oil field development are demonstrated
