Estimating presence of hydrocarbons within Northern shelf of Vietnam

Abstract: The article is devoted to estimation of oil and gas presence within the Northern shelf of Vietnam. The conducted research allowed substantiating new areas of further exploration in the region. Four categories of objects have been determined and described according to their perspectives and priority order for oil and gas prospecting

Abstract: The article shows how to define the role of shear dislocations in the geology of Shonghonsky depression and its petroleum potential. A mud volcanic model of the Bao Vang, Bao Deng and others upheavals is substantiated. The causes and patterns of CO2 distribution in the gas reservoirs of these deposits are established.
