Vasiliy V. KALININ graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University in 1974. Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Head of the Dept. of Higher Mathematics of Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas. Author of over 60 publications (including two monographs) and two inventions.

Abstract: Peculiarities of flow of a 3-component gas-fluid mixture (oil-gas-water) in oil and gas gathering systems are considered. These are caused by inversion of the emulsion type (oil in water or water in oil). Problems of hydraulic modeling and identification of relevant model parameters, determining the distribution and structure of flows in them are discussed. The proposed algorithms are mainly oriented to calculate oil and gas gathering systems of offshore oil and gas fields.
