Abstract: Results of plasmachemical methane processing studies proved their efficiency for hydrogen production are presented. It is shown that crude mixture conversion up to 90% is provided with energy expences as low as 2,0-2,5 kWh/(m3 of input methane). It is possible to alter H2:CO ratio in range 3:1-1:1 by varying input components (oxygen, water vapor, carbon dioxide, methane homologs). With H2:CO ratio 2:1 energy expences equal 1,1-1,3 kWh/m3, with ratio 1:1 equal 0,7-0,8 kWh/m3.

Abstract: Microbiological methods of obtaining alternative fuels from syn-gas, producible from different available sources such as natural gas, coal and organic biomass are considered. Syn-gas can be processed into liquid fuels by microbiological methods, based on the use of CO-consuming organisms producing spirits and salts of fatty acids. Microbiological conversion of syn-gas into hydrogen with the following microbiological processing of the obtained hydrogen can be one of the stages of liquid fuels production.
