Abstract: The synthesis of 2-(2,3-dihydroxybenzyl)-1H-isoindol-1,3(2H)-dione was descri-bed. The structure of synthesized compound was confirmed by IR- and NMR-spectroscopy. The way of electrophilic attack of catechol ring depends on the solvent, as it was shown by quantum-chemical calculations (Gaussian09 program, semi-empirical method PM6). In case of substitution at the third position in catechol ring the energy of cationic intermediate is lower in chloroform than the one in methanol. As the reaction proceeds on the way of energy minimum, it afforded the 3-substituted product. Energy of dissociation of ArO-H bond was calculated to reveal possible antioxidant activity of target compounds using quantum chemical method (semi-empirical PM6). The ability of synthesized compounds to destruct cumene hydroperoxide was studied. It was estimated, that 2-(2,3-dihydroxybenzyl)-1H-isoindol-1,3(2H)-dione, 1-(4-hydroxy-5-isopropil-2-methylbenzyl)azepan-2-one and 1-(4-hydroxy-5-isopropil-2-methylbenzyl)pyr-rolidin-2-one possess the best antioxidant effect

Abstract: The possibilities of infrared spectroscopy in the analysis of the hydrocarbon composition of diesel fuel are described and relationships between the composition and properties are established. The focus is on detailed study of the structure of paraffin and naphthenic hydrocarbons and their influence on the low temperature properties of diesel fuels e.g. filterability limit temperature and pour point. The data on various functional additives presence in diesel fuel are represented. Calibration curves to determine the concentration of additives are constructed. It is shown that the intensity of the characteristic band of the functional groups in the additive package is lower than that in solutions of individual additives

Abstract: The effect of the quantitaty and salinity of produced water on the intensity of the precipitation of the water-oil emulsions is studied. It was found that for Udmurtia oils characterized by a high content of high molecular weight resin-asphaltene compounds with the share of the aqueous phase growing up to 80 % the stability of oil-water emulsions increases and, thus the number of AFS increases as well. Reduced salinity of produced water increases the aggregate stability of the emulsion, which enhances the formation of deposits

Abstract: The composition of organic and mineral components of asphalt and paraffin deposits (APS) of the fields of Udmurtia is identified. The hazard category of deposits relating to oil wastes produced at all stages of production, transportation and treatment. It is shown that the total factor severity is significantly higher with the environmental hazard of all components of the organic phase deposits taken into account versus the «simplified» approach.

Abstract: The reasons for increased formation of asphalt, resin and paraffin deposits in the fields of the Volgograd region are considered. It is shown that an important factor in the formation of paraffin, resin and asphalt in the affected fields is the formation of stable oil-water emulsions, which promotes active involvement of emulsified water in the sediment. A combined reagent, allowing to destroy oil emulsion and significantly reduce the amount of deposits on the surface of the oil field equipment is proposed.

Abstract: The paper analyzes the influence of the chemical composition of a group of four oils of Volgograd and Orenburg regions on their low temperature properties: freezing point and the tendency to form asphaltene-resin-paraffin deposits. It is shown that when studying the group composition it is important to consider not only the quantitative content of individual groups of compounds: paraffin-naphthenic and aromatic hydrocarbons, resins and asphaltenes in the oil, but also their mutual relationship, which can be determined on the basis of spectral coefficients. We found that deposits may grow in the presence of formation water. This is due to the amount of polar components-resins and asphaltenes - in the studied oil.
