He is Doctor of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences, professor of the Department of Theoretical Foundations of Oil and Gas Prospecting at Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas, correspondent member of Russian Academy of Natural S. Abstract: Geophysical methods of determining the accumulation type using AL- EL cross-plotting and seismic interpretation data are considered. A detailed study of sedimentary types acoustic log and reservoir fluid saturation character AL-EL complex enables to determine the occurrence or absence of non-reservoir discontinuities between deposits. This must be confirmed by testing results and results of geological modeling using seismic data
