Results of using multilevel technology to study Central Asian deep structures.

Abstract: The problems of joint interpretation of multi-level aeromagnetic data measurements, interpretation data of gravitational field and seismic data along the Kopetdag − the Aral Sea in Central Asia regional profile are considered. It is shown that the interpretation of multi-level aeromagnetic data can accurately determine the coordinates of the location and depth of deep tectonic faults. The obtained characteristics of tectonic faults are confirmed by a complex of analyzed independent geophysical data.

Abstract: The results of computer and expert interpretation using LESSA program are presented. According to the results of computer processing of satellite imagery and digital elevation models meter charts of the main characteristics of both images have been made. A complex scheme of computer interpretation has been composed. As a result of comparing the data obtained using LESSA, and expert interpretation the final fault-block diagram of the territory has been obtained. Two main systems of lineaments of north-east and sub-lateral directions have been identified. The results of the work have been used in seismic data interpretation and mapping of the tectonic structure in the area of exploration for oil and gas.

Abstract: The results of the interpretation of the geological structure of the Upper Paleozoic sediments of Pogadaevo-Ostafevsky deflection from the position of sequence-stratigraphy are presented. Numerical assessment of the resources in traps at different stratigraphic levels of the subsalt rocks complex is carried out.

Abstract: An approximate method for determining with an acceptable accuracy the performance of a horizontal gas well with partial penetration into the deposit in the form of a sector is proposed. To be able to determine the flow rate of a horizontal well, which penetrated into a fragment of a homogenous reservoir in the form of a sector a sector, we propose a method of replacing the sector with strip elements. The flow rate of these can be calculated using the formula for fully opened fragments.

Abstract: Given the use of different organizational models for the construction of wells, two levels of wells quality control − the strategic and operational – are identified. Strategic management is carried out by updating quality requirements basing on the analysis of the experience of operating wells. Operational management is the management of a specific drilling system that is drilling of wells in order to achieve design quality indicators. In the case of the general contractor this is the function of drilling contractor, whereas with an integrated contract this is the function of license holder.

Abstract: Carbon dioxide is the main component of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere and its man-made imbalance in the ecosphere is often viewed as one of the possible causes of global climate change. One way to reduce СО2 imbalance is to use it as a «building block» for the synthesis of various inorganic and organic compounds. The present work experimentally fixes the fact of the formation of C-C bond in the process of conversion of carbon dioxide in ftrifluoroacetic acid (TFA), which leads to the appearance of a product with high molecular weight. This fact has never been described in literature before. It is shown that the activation of СО2 is associated with the molecular oxygen dissolved in TFA.
